How Spinach Dip Roll ups are Made…

These Spinach Dip Crescent roll ups are made with:

  • Two cans of crescent rolls
  • 4 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese (Additional for Garnish)
  • 1/2 Cup Sour cream
  • 1 Clove of garlic Pressed
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • Dash of Salt and Pepper
  • 2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 T. Butter

Begin with Lightly Sauteing your Fresh Spinach-

Open your can of crescent rolls- one at a time and leave formed into a rectangle- press together at seams.

Mix together your Cream cheese, Parmesan, Sour cream, garlic, salt, Pepper, and Worcestershire Sauce and spread half onto your dough, then half your cheese, ending in half of your wilted spinach. Roll up tightly long ways.

Cut each roll into about 10 rolls- with a sharp knife or a pastry scraper works great as a well. place into a greased 9×13 casserole dish. Sprinkle with butter and Parmesan.

Lastly, place in the oven at 350 fot about 25 minutes- until a light golden on top!

Ingredients

  • 2 Cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

Filling

  • 7 Oz. Fresh Spinach Saute
  • 4 oz. Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 C. Sour Cream
  • 1/4 C. Shredded Parmersan Additional for Garnish
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Clove Garlic pressed or 1/2 tsp. of Garlic Powder
  • Dash Salt and Pepper
  • 2 C. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Garnish

  • 2 T. Melted Butter
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese Sprinkled on top

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350º and grease a 9x13 casserole dish.
  • Lightly oil a Large skillet and saute your spinach until wilted; remove from heat and set aside.
  • Open each can of crescent roll and leaving them in Two rectangular shapes and pressing together at the seams on a flat surface. You should have TWO rectangle like shaped dough.
  • Using your mixer on medium low ; cream together cream cheese and Sour cream. Then using a spoon; stir in the Parmesan, garlic, Worcester, and salt and pepper. Spread mixture half and half onto your dough, then a layer of 1 Cup of cheese onto both followed by a layer of your spinach.
  • Roll each dough up carefully from the long side of the dough into long log shapes. Cut each log into about 10 small rolls using a sharp knife or Pastry Scraper. Arrange onto your casserole dish, placing close together. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  • Place in oven and bake for about 25 minutes; until they are a light golden on top. Serve warm.
